Lisa Davidson, Trustee

Lisa Davidson may be a 3-year resident of Head of the Harbor but she wasted no time getting involved in the community in a meaningful way. She was appointed by Mayor Dahlgard to the Joint Coastal Commission and sits on the Village Tree Board. It was this work that inspired her successful campaign to block the proliferation of mega-docks in Stony Brook Harbor. As a result of that accomplishment, and a reflection of her leadership skills, Nissequogue Mayor, Richard Smith, tapped her to chair the re-launch of Happy Harbor Day after a 20-year hiatus.

Lisa also works as a polling coordinator for Suffolk County Board of Elections. Previously, Davidson was a television producer for outlets including National Geographic, FOX News and the Travel Channel, as well as a contributing editor for publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Daily Variety and Marie Claire. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is married to Spencer Davidson and is the proud sister of a New York City police officer.
